About CIEE Copenhagen

The world is our classroom. Join us on the journey!

In fall 2018, we opened our doors to our first cohort of students in Copenhagen. Our study center is centrally located in the city center by Kultorvet where we invite students inside to a warm and welcoming atmosphere where they will be having their classes and join in on social activities throughout the week.

Since 2018, we have hosted both American university and high school students in everything from shorter summer courses to longer programs. Generally, our students attend classes at our study center taught by passionate and skilled CIEE instructors.

We offer a wide array of programs for our university and high school students. As a university student at CIEE Copenhagen, they can study with us up to 12 weeks, do an internship at a Danish company, or go on a faculty-led trip to Copenhagen and Denmark. As a high school student at CIEE Copenhagen, they can participate in a summer course focused on e.g. sustainability, entrepreneurship or engineering for up to three weeks, or go on a chaperoned trip to Copenhagen and Denmark.

At CIEE Copenhagen we are a team of dedicated employees who are all passionate about ensuring that our students get the best possible experience in Denmark.  Besides their classes, we put a lot of emphasis on offering them insight into Danish culture and everyday life through e.g. social activities, museum visits, and trips around Denmark.
